JAIPUR: Three times after a man tried to murder a 15-year-old woman at the Sanganer open prison, the family of this woman serving sentence hatched a case against the accused on Monday.
Police have registered a case under appropriate departments of Pocso Act.
According to authorities, the accused assaulted the woman took her from the Sanganer open prison area.
While he had been trying to attack her, then he saw motion of authorities patrolling jeep and consequently abandoned the woman fled from the area.
“parents of this woman serving sentence for a murder case in the open prison have filed a case against the accused, recognized as Pintu Gujjar,” stated a senior officer of Malpura gate police channel.
The woman lives with her parents at the prison in Sanganer.
“She said that the accused Pintu Gujjar requested her to come from this prison and then he took her into a secluded area where he tried to kiss her,” said an officer.
According to authorities, the incident happened on Wednesday and they have lodged a situation.
“The accused remains at large.
We’ll also set the announcement of this woman,” the officer added.
In the Sanganer open prison, offenders who have good behaviour are kept together with their households and therefore are permitted to go out to get a 9am to 5pm job.
