Jaipur: Jaipur: Branch of Police Crime Jaipur on Thursday captured 52-year-old chain snatchers targeting elderly women in prosperous areas.
DCP (crime) Amrita Duhan said that the defendant was identified as Kamruddin aka Kammu, involved in almost 36 cases of taking chains in the city.
“The defendant acted alone.
He’s zip in and out of luxury areas, roaming the old woman and seizing their chains,” said Duhan.
A resident of Hasanpura in Jaipur, the defendant previously worked as a laborer and peddlers before traveling to the chain of grabbing.
In accordance with the police, the defendant acknowledged the interrogator that he specifically moved to the regions in the morning and then in the afternoon because there was a minimal foot point on the road.
The crime branch said the defendant sold the gold chain illegally and spent money to live a luxurious life.
