Jaipur: A 30-year-old man who slept at his house was shot dead in Amai Village under the area of the Kotputli police station in the rural Jaipur.
The police identified the victim as Bhola Ram, a truck driver.
The investigator said he was far asleep when the attacker broke into his room and fired a blank point on his head.
Bhola Ram died at that place, even when his mother hurriedly examined it after hearing gunfire.
DSP Kotputi Dinesh Kumar Yadav said the police had identified the suspect and a team approached the killer.
The police suspected that the wrong love affair tended to be the reason for the murder.
“It seems that there is only one shooter, but the defendant may have been accompanied by at least one other aide,” said an official to Ti.
“The victim slept in a separate room, while his family members were sleeping in two different rooms.
Shortly after Friday night, he finished his dinner and immediately slept,” said the official, adding that family members did not report suspicious activity until dissolved night.
Around 1 morning on Saturday, family members woke up by gunfire.

Other family members including wives and children of victims crowded around the bed where Bhola Ram was dead.
Locals in the village claimed to have heard about the bicycle that drove through the location, as soon as a shot was heard.
“We identified the main suspects who had criminal records and were arrested in the case of previous theft.
We have also learned that the suspect has Tiff with Bhola for the last wife,” said an official to Ti, added that illegal firearms were used to kill Bhola.
