The proposal for the request for a separate cadre for the delayed doctor since 2011 was handed over to Govt Jaipur: Paying respect for the doctors who lost their lives for Covid, the government had decided to build a doctor’s warning at SMS Jaipur Hospital in Jaipur.
The announcement was made by Health Minister Raghu Sharma here on Thursday on the occasion of a doctor’s day.
Memorial will appear outside the 22nd floor of the MPD Tower built in the hospital place.
Sharma discusses virtual programs and villain functions on national doctor’s day organized by Rajasthan Medical Council.
Sharma said the first and second waves were controlled by the help of doctors, medical staff and personnel.
The work for the construction of the 22-storey IPD tower at SMS Hospital at a cost of Rs 300 Crore will begin in August.
Of all the total, RS74 Crore will be provided under the City Smart project and RS 50 Crore each will be provided by the Housing Board and Jaipur Development Authority.
The rest of RS 125Crore will be provided by the Ministry of Medical Education.
The IPD tower will appear in the place where the cottage ward is there.
JDA will immediately destroy the cottage.
The state government has recruited 2,700 medical officers in the state in the past year, Sharma said, adding that it has done all efforts to take care of all members of the medical family.
He said the necessary actions had been taken after sympathetic considering the demands such as changing the appointment of nurses who were delayed in the past six years, creating a pharmacist cadre, increasing doctor’s honorarium and ex Gratia in death due to Covid.
Meanwhile, the request of the octor to create cadres for them in accordance with the agreement in 2011 and 2017 was still delayed.
Sharma said the cadre committee in June had made a proposal in this matter and handed it to the state government.
The proposal will be checked and will soon be implemented by considering sympathetic.
