Jaipur: Jyoti Nagar police on Wednesday submitted Chargesheet ‘fix’ at the court court on Wednesday against Mayor of JMC-Greater Somya Gurjar and four council members in the case of attack on the commissioner.
The ACJM court on Tuesday has returned a chargesheet submitted by the police by citing procedural irregularities and defects in it.
The court has found that the defendant is not presented notice according to the rules before submitting a chargesheet.
The police on Tuesday night themselves issued a notification to five accused of this case after the court returned the defect quoting Chargesheet.
Police Jyoti Nagar has submitted a Chargesheet against Gurjar and four other board members because they attacked the Commissioner on June 4 in the mayor’s room.
Chargesheet filed on June 14 including the mayor suspended by Somya Gurjar, and members of the Board of Ajay Singh, Paras Jain, Shankar Sharma and Ram Kishore Prajapat.
Cases are made mainly under section 353 (violence or criminal to obstruct public servants from disposal of their duties) and 332 (voluntarily cause wounds to prevent public servants from their duties) from other relevant parts.
Chargesheet was filed within 10 days after a case was registered at the Jyoti Nagar police station after a high-voltage drama on 4.
Commissioner JMC-Greater Yagya Mitra Singh had alleged that he was issued by BJP Board members in front of the Mayor of Somya in front of.
He claimed that he had gone to meet the Mayor to discuss the issue of making payments to the company collecting waste because the workers were in a strike on payment contributions.
In the Mayor’s office, he alleged that he was suppressed by the Board to give orders for alternative settings to collect garbage.
The probe carried out by regional director of local bodies found the mayor and board members guilty of violations and suspended their company membership.
Judicial probes are also ordered.
