Jaipur: The day after the Crime Crime Crime Investigation Department (CB-CID) facilitated the arrest of a narcotics of smugglers with 5kg from Charas from Tatiyawas in Chomu, the police were investigating whether Rajasthan was safer for narcotics to smuggle from Pakistan and Punjab.
The confiscated drug was actually smuggled into Anantnag (J & K) through Pakistan and then sent to Amritsar and was finally taken to Rajasthan by a smuggler captured on Thursday.
A Jaipur police team also reached Amritsar to take Bashir’s custody, Kingpin who received narcotics from Pakistan to Anantnag and had been delivered to Aarif Ali, a smuggler who took him to Ajmer.
Ali was arrested on Thursday.
“During the investigation it was found that Aarar Ali had brought Charas many times and had done it for a long time.
Our job is to arrest him and we have handed it to the Chomu police, “said Pushpendra Singh, DSP, CB-CID on Friday.
Senior Crime Branch Officer said the module was excavated for the first time when the narcotics smuggled from Pakistan were brought to Rajasthan.
“If we will get more input or information in this matter, we will share with Jaipur police who are investigating this case,” Singh said.
Meanwhile, Jaipur police were ready to take Bashir under his detention.
“In order to get more subtle details and to get more in all transportation, Bashir’s interrogation will be important.
Our team had reached Amritsar and he would be taken to Jaipur on Friday night.
He will be interrogated to find out whether Pakistani smugglers and smugglers from Punjab found Rajasthan as an easy target for narcotics smuggling, “said Ajay Pal Lamba, an additional commissioner of the police (crime).
