Jaipur: Rakesh Bishnii, a student Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University (JRRSU) had to travel from Jodhpur to Jaipur to get a migration certificate from the University.
He is among thousands of other students who study in various universities in various parts of the country affiliated with JRRU and have to travel to Jaipur for their certificate.
For the convenience of the student, Jrrsu has decided to make the whole process online.
Along with this, the University administration has begun working on the digitization process after that students sit in any part of the country can obtain their certificate online.
“It will be a big relief if this is implemented in the state.
Students will be saved from difficult tasks coming from far places to get their documents,” Rakesh said.
A plan was initiated to make Jrrsu a smart university by connecting it with modern technology.
Representatives of Chancellor Anula Maurya held two meetings with Delhi University in the past to implement this action plan.
After that work began making universities online in various phases.
On Sunday, Deputy Registrar, Delhi University, Anil Kumar visited Sanskrit University and gave the advice needed to these officials.
VC Maurya said the action plan for the next six months was prepared under the first phase to make a sophisticated campus.
In the first plan, along with the preparation of smart classrooms at the university, the campus will be activated by Wi-Fi.
To secure important documents from universities, library digitalization work will be carried out together with the creation of digital archives.
VC said the manuscript available at the University will also be available online for undergraduate research.
There are plans to start online courses for people to learn Sanskrit in this country and abroad.
In addition, reception and hostel fees will be sent online to provide assistance to students who have to travel from everywhere.
