Jaipur: Jaipur reported 15 new Covid infections in the last two days, which showed that cases increased slightly because active cases rose to 47 of 41 in the last 24 hours.
On August 26, the active case has dropped to 38.
Of the 15 cases, eight reported from Bassi, civil lines, Govindgarh, Jamwaramgarh, Mansarovar, Sikar, Saturday, and Sodala on Saturday.
Eleven people who were positively tested for Covid in the state on Saturday took the overall calculation to 9.54,079.
The country’s death toll reached 8,954.
Four districts reported new Covid cases, while in the remaining 29 districts, no fresh infections reported.
The district that reported new cases was Jaipur (8), Jhalawar (1), Sikar (1) and Udaipur (1).
A health department official said people in Jaipur must continue to follow the appropriate Covid behavior to avoid the third wave.
In August, there was no death because Covid had been reported so far.
The last victim of the virus was reported on July 31 when Srianganganagar reported the death of his 150 victims.
In Jaipur, the last death was reported on June 30.
In the last 24 hours, six people recovered from Covid took the calculation of people being restored to 9,45,009.
