Jaipur: In a big shame for Jaipur police, ACJM Court (No 8) on Monday replied to the billing fees submitted by police Jyoti Nagar against Somya Gurjar, the mayor who was suspended from JMC-Greater and four council members in the case of the commissioner’s attack.
The court pulled the police for procedural irregularities and incomplete investigative reports, according to sources.
Police Jaipur has submitted a Chargesheet against Gurjar and four members of another council for attacking the Commissioner on June 4 in the mayor’s room.
The police said the Chargesheet was submitted before the court on June 14 including the names of Somya Gurjar, Ajay Singh, Paras Jain, Shankar Sharma and Ram Kishore Prajapat.
Cases are made mainly under section 353 (violence or criminal to obstruct public servants from disposal of their duties) and 332 (voluntarily cause wounds to prevent public servants from their duties) from other relevant parts.
Chargesheet was filed within 10 days after a case registered at the Jyoti Nagar police station after a high-voltage drama on 4.
Commissioner JMC-Greater Yagya Mitra Singh had alleged that he was attacked by the BJP Somya Gurjar office.
He claimed he had gone to meet the Mayor to discuss the issue of making payments to the company collecting waste because the workers were in a strike.
In the Mayor’s office, he alleged that he was suppressed by the Board to give orders for alternative settings to collect garbage.
In Fir then it was filed at the police station, the Commissioner accused when he stepped out of the office to attend the meeting when several board members attacked him.
Later, the investigation conducted by the Regional Director of Local Agencies found the mayor and board members guilty of violations and suspend their company membership.
Judicial probe is also active.
