Jaipur: Almost every two weeks after conducting a preliminary investigation of Suspended Jaipur Municipal Corporation – Husband Mayor of Rajaram Gurjar and Three others, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Rajaram and Omkar Sapre, an employee of BVG Company, on Tuesday.
ACB has begun an investigation against the husband of Somya Gurjar suspended and BVG India Ltd.
After the video of the former negotiated RS 20 Crore commission to release extraordinary contributions from almost RS 276 Crore to the company by JMC.
In the video, Rajaram was seen negotiating an agreement with company employees who seemed to agree to pay Rs 20 Crore as commissions.
Then, in an official statement, the company has denied the allegations.
The arrest came a day after ACB received a FSL report that confirmed the authenticity of video and audio, among others.
Previously, on Monday, the Rajasthan High Court had the suspension of the mayor of the enforced Gurjar Somyota.
“We got a report from our FSL.
We also sent videos to FSLs that are famous outside the country.
They confirmed authenticity on Monday.
But to ensure that the defendant did not get our actions, we invited him to be questioned on Tuesday morning and arrested him after interrogation , “said Director General ACB BL Soni to Ti.
The FSL report is considered three main things.
“First, we have to see if the entire video has been made in one shot without a wound or manipulation.
Second, checked whether audio is not dubbed and authentic.
Third, it is to check whether the entire video together is authentic.
All of these things are confirmed by two FSL reports , “said Soni.
“Rajaram called to ask if there was an arrest.
We told him that it was only for a small question.
After he convinced, he arrived.
After several documents and verification, he was arrested,” said a senior ACB officer who was part of an inquiry with the terms of anonymity.
Apart from Rajaram, ACB was also called Omkar Sapre, a BVG company employee, without telling him that the first was also asked to come to their office.
“He was also arrested,” said Soni.
Cases under various parts of the prevention of corruption laws have been submitted against them and the other two, one chaudhary sandeep of BVG and one nimbam company.
The ACB source further said that several IPS officers and IAS were also on the Bureau radar.
