Jaipur: Traders opposed the market closure for REET

Jaipur: The shop owners who live outside the walled city are not happy with the decision to close the market on Sunday due to the appreciation of the feasibility of Rajasthan for the teacher (reet).
However, all market associations in the city have voluntarily decided to keep their leaves on September 26.
Because the majority of shops in the walled city area are closed on Sundays, they do not mind the decision.
Kundan Lal, a Sherwani trader in a city wallpaper said that they did not mind keeping it closed for another day.
“Because it is Pitra Paksh (Shraddh) today, most customers do not want to buy new wedding or clothing equipment.
On Sundays, 80% of the shop is closed, so when the request comes from the Jaipur collector to close the market, we agree.
Otherwise There will be a lot of traffic, “Kundan Lal said.
However, the situation is completely different for shop owners outside the walled city as the majority of people in Jaipur – bigger out of their homes on weekends.
Arun Kumar (name changed), toy shop owner at Vaishali Nagar said that at the end of their business weekend doubled compared to weekdays.
Therefore, keeping the market closed after a pandemic is a difficult decision.
The owner of another showroom in Mansarovar said that the reet should not be a reason to cover the entire city.
“It’s just a test, why should we close the whole city.
There are so many who suffer big losses during locking, now when time has come to revive our business, they want to close the market,” said the owner of the showroom with anonymity requirements.
Lalit Singh, President Jaipur Vyapar Mandal said that all shop owners were willing to close the shop.
“It’s not coercion but it is recommended to close the market.
We must understand that the legal and order situation can deteriorate.
Therefore keep the market closed better,” Singh said.
The shopkeeper to support Shutdown said there had been a past incident when candidates for different examinations create a commotion, so it was recommended to remain closed.
