Jaipur traders to close the market tomorrow

Jaipur: With the politics of taking a centrestage, city traders have decided to close the market on September 11 after talks with the Ministry of UDH Shanti Dhariwal for implementing an inconclusive trade license on Thursday.
While Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater (JMC-G) has begun implementing the system and serving notifications to businesses, JMC-Heritage has decided not to continue.
Members of the merchant association, who met Dhariwal, were told that the state government did not play a role in it.
But he convinced them that business would not be closed because they did not pay license fees.
However, traders have refused to receive this guarantee and decided to turn off the market on Saturday as a protest.
Meanwhile, at a press conference on Thursday, JMC-H Mayor Munesh Gurjar stated that they would not apply the current license system.
“We only want to convey our message to traders that the trade license will not be implemented now.
I asked them to return from their decision to turn off the market because they had suffered a big loss in a pandemic.
If in the future we want to implement it, we will consult with them In advance, “Gurjar said.
MLA from the JMC-H area has also provided their support for this decision.
Speaking on behalf of them, MLA from the Heritage region conducted another press conference at the residence of Pratap Singh Khachariwas and questioned how JMC-G Mayor Sheel Dhabai could serve notification to businesses without trusting the state government.
They accused that the licensing system opposed the interests of small traders who overcome the losses suffered during pandemics.
The merchant association said that they would continue to protest until they were confirmed written about canceling the decision.
Subhash Goyal, President Jaipur Vyapar Mahasangh, alleged that the government gave a fake guarantee.
“Until we discuss it, traders will not rest,” he said.
Dr.
Vijay Kapoor, Secretary, private hospital and the Panti Jompo community, said, “The government has not made a decision to withdraw the order of the proposed trade licensing.
The minister UDH did not provide a clear indication at the meeting.
He is looking for time to study this problem.
That, our decision to slap Saturday Stand.
