Jaipur: Two days after dismissing the limited Indian BVG from door-to-door waste collection, the condition of sanitation in the walled city was devastated.
Tons of garbage are located on the road with only 100 hoopers available with corporations to collect garbage from home.
BVG has 200 Hooper for all walled cities.
JMC-Heritage has 100 Hooper itself.
The corporation has decided to function in two shifts.
Residents complain that Hooper will come twice or three times a week but now with only 100 Hooper, a garbage pile can be seen in every corner.
Kamal Kumar, a resident of Gangori Market, said Hooper did not come since the last five days.
“Without a company employed for sanitation, the garbage depot overflows.” Many board members question the decision to remove companies without alternatives.
Rajat Bishnoi, member of the Ward 9 Board, said there was a need to have an alternative before ending the contract.
“When there is no alternative, why is the company deleted? Already two hoopers in the ward are not enough and even if the corporation sends a hooper twice a day, they will not be able to cover the whole ward.
This is an unplanned and hasty decision,” Bishnoi said .
JMC-Heritage Commissioner Avadhesh Meena said they tried to manage sanitation correctly.
“Apart from the employees of Municipal Corporation, all efforts are made to ensure cleanliness by fully utilizing available resources.
About 4,700 sweepers work in shifts.
In two days, more than 700 tons of garbage were appointed from the city.
About 16 units work continuously for garbage collection In all zones.
Hooper continued to run for a garbage collection from door to door, “Meena said.
The Maharawar Sunita Board member supports a step that says that with companies that come out of scenarios we can work quickly to improve sanitation conditions.
We have to wait some time to let the corporation work well.
Cleaning is done from 6am to noon and 17:00 to 10pm.
