Jaipur: Around Rs 1 Crore has been spent and more than 500 workers have worked day and night to illuminate the whole city of walled for Diwali.
To celebrate 75-year independence, the Chandpol market will be decorated with tricolor lights with flying digital butterflies.
The Market Association of President Subhash Goyal said the preparation was completed.
“More than 300 workers from West Bengal work day and night at Chandpol to decorate the market.
We have built a replica of the ship in the middle of the market.
We really hope this DIWALI we will forget the problems we all face in a pandemic,” said Goyal.
In the Kisehanpole market, a pink light has been installed and the expensive replica has been built in Choti Chaupar.
At the Gate of Ajmeri, Lotus has been built symbolizing the Dewi Laxmi.
Kisehanpole Market Association President Manish Khunteta said they wanted to celebrate this year’s Pink City theme.
In Johri and Bapur Market, LED lights will be used to decorate.
In the Bapu market, 4,500 tubers and 150 designer lights will be used for decoration.
