Jaipur: This monsoon, civilians here will expose a lot of commuters to a massive risk because some arterial roads have been excavated leaving the trench and trenches just before the rain.
Works that are partially resolved in culverts and open holes on the road that leads to a large market has created difficulties and increases the risk of accidents.
Vijay Jain, a resident of Raja Park said, “Recently, the road was excavated to put a pipe.
The holes filled with sand, which can be easily washed away with the rain.
The accident will certainly occur and the vehicle will be damaged too.” Like every Year, the Directorate of Local Agency (DLB) has directed all civil bodies to complete road repair work before the monsoon.
However, the direction appeared falling in deaf ears.
The Ministry of Health and Community Engineering (PHED) digs the road before the rainy season to put water pipes.
Because of lack of coordination, open time is not right.
“The streets must be explored after the monsoon so the possibility of an accident reduced.
Even if the pipe is put this time, the road should be built,” said Ashish Parea, a resident of Kolony Sethi.
Many claim roads excavated by civil bodies will all turn into a nightmare during the rainy season.
During the recent shower, most of the road surrendered in the CScheme and Pratap Nagar area.
In some areas, gravel has begun to escape and so rain, the trench may develop along the portion of Gugges.
Jaipurites also showed that the civilian government failed to make the right improvement and therefore commuting would be exposed to threats.
“I traveled from Adarsh Nagar to the Industrial Area of Sitapura through Jhalana.
All stretches of Shanti Path and Jhalana have been excavated, but improvements are not in accordance with the target.
Traveling on these roads with clogged water will be at risk for residents,” said Bhawani Singh , a resident.
