Jaipur: Animal Hospital and shelter views a surge in the number of birds injured by kite bonds brought for treatment on Thursday.
Jain Bird Hospital in Johri Market at an average of seeing three to five injured birds was brought every day and the numbers would likely rise on Sankranti Makar.
Pramod Jain, a member of the committee run this hospital, said that injury to birds increased during this time.
“People carry birds injured to our hospital.
Eagle, dove, crow brought.
We treat them properly and will let it open after treatment,” Jain said.
The hospital does not have its own rescue center, but because they have healed birds for a long time, people carrying hairy guests to this shelter.
Other NGOs that have set up camp at Deer Park in Jaipur and Malviya Nagar are Raksha Bird NGOs.
