JAIPUR: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Greater,” commissioner Yagya Mitra Singh has alleged that he had been assaulted by BJP councillors within mayor Somya Gurjar’s office on Friday.
He’d gone to fit up with the mayor to talk about the dilemma of earning payment on the firm collecting garbage.
The employees of this firm are on a strike for the last two days.
In the mayor’s office,” he declared he was driven by 10 BJP councillors to provide an arrangement for an alternate arrangement to collect crap.
“The assembly was held at the interior part of the mayor’s office on her own invitation.
The court had given an order to not take some actions against the employer for eight months.
I proposed to mayor Somya Gurjar and councillors to persuade the business and pay them the sum for fuel as the people would continue to endure,” Singh explained.
“However they mistreated me.
As soon as I left the office as I needed to wait for a meeting in the collectorate, three BJP councillors stopped me in the primary office gate and manhandled me,” Singh explained.
When he phoned his private staff, the house guards posted in the mayor’s office did not make it possible for them to enter, he said.
Two house guards were later suspended.
“I might have gotten violent with all the councillors, but that is contrary to my dignity.
I’ll file an FIR against them.
That can be a well planned conspiracy by the councillors.
How do they call me to get a meeting and strike me?” Requested the commissioner.
Refuting all claims made by the commissioner, mayor Somya Gurjar explained that it was only a play for affordable publicity.
“nobody manhandled that the commissioner.
If a person misbehaved with the commissioner, provide us evidence and actions will be taken against them.
I’ve asked all of my employees but they have refused it.
I named the commissioner to talk about the sanitation dilemma confronted by the general public, but he decided to make a controversy.
I believe that he isn’t thinking about working for the general public,” Gurjar retorted following the episode.
She alleged that the commissioner has made this position for his own advantage.
“I really don’t understand what connection he has with the business that has stopped functioning.
The commissioner hasn’t been in a position to offer any alternate remedy to the issue,” explained Gurjar.
The directorate of nearby bodies (DLB) manager, Deepak Nandi, has ordered an investigation into the matter and sought a record whenever possible.
The sanitation team came out in full support of this commissioner and declared a complete day attack on Saturday in the businesses.
Sanitation workers’ union president Nand Kishore Dandoriya stated that when such an senior officer wasn’t secure from the business, who could assure their security.
