New Delhi: Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar will tour three countries Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia from 10 to 13 October.
Jaisankar will be in the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10-11, the external ministry said in a statement.
He will go to Kazakhstan on Monday.
He will then visit Armenia in October, 12-13, said MEA.
This visit will provide an opportunity to review progress in Indian bilateral relations with three countries and share views on developments in the region, the next ministry said.
“This will be a continuation of the increase in our involvement with our countries in our ‘big environment’,” the Ministry added.
This will be Jaisankar’s first visit to Kyrgyzstan as Minister of External Affairs.
He will hold a bilateral meeting with Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev, besides calling President Sadyr Japarov.
Some agreements, the mous is also expected to be signed during a visit.
From October 11-12, Jaisankar will be in Kazakhstan to attend a meeting of the 6th minister’s interaction conference and action believing in the building in Asia (CICA) in Nur-Sultan.
Kazakhstan is the current seat and the initiator of the CICA forum.
Jaisankar is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileberdi, and asked Kazakh’s leadership.

Established in 1999, CICA is a forum that aims to increase cooperation through describing a multilateral approach to promoting peace, security and stability in Asia.
Currently has 27 member countries and 9 observer countries and 5 observer organizations.
India is a member of CICA since it was founded in 1999 and has actively participated in various activities carried out under the Aegis Cica.
Jaisankar will also visit Armenia in October, 12-13 MEA said.
This will be the first visit from the Minister of India’s external affairs for independent Armenia.
He will hold a meeting with Armenian colleagues and call the Prime Minister and President of the Armenian National Assembly.
