Bathinda: Former president of Punjab Congress Sunil Jakhar said on Sunday he had quit politics, but scotched speculation that he had stopped at the party because he was reportedly annoyed because “absent”.

I will not oppose the election in the future, both assembly or parliament,” said Jakhar after party MP Rahul Gandhi declared Charanjit Minister Singh Channi’s chairman as party candidate for the election of the agreement.
