Jalgaon Flood: One Dead, Some Lost

Jalgaon: One person was killed, while some were lost when the flood swallowed the village in the Chalgaon district of Maharashtra District on Tuesday.
Speaking to Ani, Chalisgaon Mla Mangesh Chauuh said, “Because of heavy rains, 10 regional villages Chalisgaon have witnessed floods.
Also, it is estimated that around 10-15 people have been swept away in flooding.1 dead and 1 person seriously injured.” Administration estimates that around 700-800 animals have died of flooding, he added.
Mla Chauhan said that rescue work was happening since morning.
Speaking to Ani, Bhagwat Patil, Police Sub-Inspector said “Kannada Ghat is the Chalisgaon area closed because landslides and no one has to use this road when the road is closed completely.” “Residents who will go to Aurangabad in their vehicles must use Nandgaon Road and those who come from Aurangabad must use Jalgaon Road,” he added.
