Jodhpur: Once after officers Riico was found to accept RS 8,000 bribes in Sirohi District for publishing rent from two industrial plots, an engineer Superintending (SE) from a discom and contractor in the neighboring district captured by the ACB of other bribery cases on Tuesday.
Se Chratar Singh Meena has demanded a bribe of RS 30,000 to issue a high power connection to the industrial unit and run an agreement through the intermediary and Mali Cantilical Contractor.
“We caught Mali with a red hand while accepting bribes, while Se Meena was arrested from her residence,” ACB official said.
According to him, Amraram had approached ACB with a complaint that he had a cement bricks manufacturing unit that was interrelated in Dharla Paoti Village in Jalore District.
“He stated that he had submitted a 15-HP connection in his unit.
Se Meena has demanded a bribe of RS 30,000 from him to issue an extension of the expense for the unit,” the official said.
For this agreement, Meena got along in Mali as an intermediary and asked for a complainant to hand over money.
ACB verifies complaints.
During verification, Amraram was asked by Mali to come to the court with the money.
“On Tuesday, Amraram went to court with Rs 30,000 and handed the money to Mali.
ACB Sleuth lay waiting there to catch him and recover money,” the official said.
The ACB team then took Mali’s residence to Meena but he closed the door to his house to see the team.
ACB has captured both and initiated the investigation into the problem.
The search has also begun in the office and Meena’s residence.
