Chennai: Teachmint Direct Teaching Platform has recorded a 500% increase in online recording online classes by teachers in Tamil Nadu, in the past month.
Startup said this was a direct response to the Government of TN which issued a new guideline in June which made it mandatory for all online classes taught in the state to be recorded.
“Because of this new direction, the number of teachers who enroll in TeachMint has risen by 300% every day, showing the rapid adoption of the platform among Tamil Nadu teachers.
Today, more than four lakh teachers & students in all states, including Chennai, including Chennai, including Chennai Coimbatore., Salem, Trichy and Madurai study on the platform, “said Teachmint in a statement.
Teachmint is a cellular teaching and video-first platform built to help teachers digitize their classrooms.
Overall, gifmint is available in 11 languages, including Tamil.
Close to 1,00,000 teachers and students involve end to end in Tamil in the teacher.
Mihir Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO in Teachmint, said there was also an increase in 3x in registration of teachers and companies also made the platform available in Tamil for ease of teachers and students.
