For Jamia’s shooting, the boy faced the law as a teenager because he wasn’t 18 years old at the time.
The Gurgaon police team picked him up on Monday from Gautam Budh Nagar, where the boy came from, after FIR was put forward at the PATADI police station.
The young man, now it is said that 19 years, has been charged below in section 153a (promoting hostility between different groups for religious reasons, races, birthplace, residence, language, etc., and involved in the prediction for maintenance of harmony) and 295A (action Only dangerous and dangerous, intended to prevent religious feelings from any class by insulting religion or religious beliefs) from the IPC.
The young man has made a statement at a meeting called to discuss “love jihad”, among others.
The committee had also denied inviting the boy, claiming he appeared himself.
Mahapachayat was held at Ramleela Ground in Pataudi in July 4.
The video clip of the speech is widely distributed on social media, which leads to a call for legal action against meetings and speakers there.
“If they can kidnap our brothers and sisters, why can’t we kidnap it? From Pataudi, I want to warn people with ‘terrorist mindset’ that if I can go to Jamia to support CAA, Pataudi isn’t too far away,” he said , Then, in another video sharing where the boy was the intended speaker, he stood in words and repeated them.
Pataudi FIR is archived based on complaints submitted by Billaspur residents.
The police said the boy was produced in front of the Gurugram court, which returned it in judicial detention for 14 days.
Confirming the arrest, DCP (Manesar) Varun Singla said, “He was arrested and produced in front of the Gurugram Court and sent to the trial detention.” Pataudi Mahapanchayat was held under the Hindu banner of Dharm Raksha Manch, led by President Master Om Singh and was attended by members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Chief of Tribe Karni Sena and BJP spokesman Suraj Pal Amu and participants from 90 villages side by side.
Pamphlets are distributed before the reading meeting, ‘Mahapachayat against Love Jihad, Jihad Market, Tanah Jihad and Religious Repentance’.
