New Delhi: Foreign Minister Amit Amit Shah on Tuesday that RS 50,000 Crore investment can flow into J & K deliver in the development of all-inclusive and all round from the United area when it launched a web portal for unit registration under the ‘Central Sector Scheme For the development of the Jammu and Kashmir industry.
‘”New Dawn Investment and Industry Development will begin at J & K with the launch of this portal.
At present, the most interesting industrial policy in this country is here (in J & K),” he said while handling the event through video conferencing.
Shah added that the policy would increase investment in sectors such as tourism, education and by offering incentives, creating jobs for locals and providing Fillip to an additional industry in the conducive “Industrial Environment System”.
Joining the event is J & K LG Manoj Sinha; Trade and Minister of Industry Piyush Goyal; Minister of State for PMO Jitendra Singh; MOS (Home) Nitanand Rai; Minister of Junior for Trade & Industrial Som Prakash and Anupriya Patel; Senior Central Government and J & K officials; and industry representatives.
Speaking on that occasion, Piyush Goyal said the beginning of the online & bolster portal from the central sector scheme would further increase the ease of doing business and carrying all-round transparency.
The portal will make the whole process under the scheme i.e.
Applying registration, send their claims and processes in the department, online and without a human interface.
Shah said that the industry was embarrassed in investing in J & K for years because of several obstacles or others, and former article 70 and Article 35A had eliminated these obstacles.
He said the new central sector scheme for J & K was a big milestone in fulfilling the promises made by the Prime Minister to the Jammu and Kashmir people in August 2019.

The total financial expenditure of the central sector scheme for J & K is Rs 28,400 Crore and imagines four types of incentives, namely, capital investment incentives, subvention of capital interests; GST related incentives; and subvention of working capital interest.
