Jammu and Kashmir: Nia Raids 40 Locations of Jamaat-e-Islami which are prohibited

Srinagarl: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sundays raids in several places in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the case of terror funding.
Source Nia said 40 leading Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) members (JEI) organizations were raided at the same time.
This happens after pine registration against leading Jei members who are prohibited.
“A new pine has nested against Jem and today’s attacks are part of the investigation related to the FIR”, the source said quoted by Ivers.
Falah-e-aam’s trust, owned by Jem located in the Srinagar suburban nowgam has also been raided, according to the report.
The source said the focus of this raid was to investigate the source of funding of the organization that was prohibited.
A Nia official associated with Probe said that kouting agents along with CRPF were conducting a search in various locations in several districts.
The official, however, remains strictly sharing the details of this case.
The source of agency said that anti-terror probe agents carry out searches in places related to senior members of terror clothing which are prohibited by Jamaat-e-Islami.
The source said that the search was ongoing at least 40 locations.
The source said that the search was being made in Doda, Budgam, Kishtwar, Rawan, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Shopian, Rajouri, and other districts in the Union region.
The source said that the search was held at the Gul Mohd War, a citizen Manigam Ganderbal, who was the Regent of Jei; Abdul Hamid Bhat, a resident of Gamchipora Batweena; Zahoor Ahmad Reshi, Jei members and former teachers now run a shop in Safapora; and Mehrajdin Reshi building in Safapora.
Reshi is a former terrorist and now runs a shop.
In the past few days, Nia has conducted a search in different locations in two separate cases and also arrested several people.
