Ranchi: District authority in Jamtara has planned a three-day vaccination drive specifically for teen groups from Friday due to gloomy inoculation coverage in the district and it is one of the worst districts in the state, officials said on Thursday.
Per data from the State Health Department, from 23.98 beneficiaries that meet the Lakh requirements in the age group 15-18, only 31% of those who have taken Jab so far along the Jharkhand while the coverage of Jamtara stands at 14%.
Only three districts – Gumla, Like and Koderma – have managed to reach more than 50% coverage (according to January 19).
Capital State Ranchi has so far managed to mock 23% of 211 beneficiaries that meet the requirements of the lakh while the Dhanbad Capital Capital has been vaccinated by 22% of 1.95 of the recipient of his lakh.
Two steel cities – Bokaro and Jamshedpur – have vaccinated 37% and 40% of them targeted populations, respectively, namely 1.49 lakh (in Bokaro) and 1.66 lakh (in Jamshedpur).
The rest of the district has included somewhere between 20% -30% of their population.
But Jamtara’s vaccination status has emerged as the main concern of health authorities both in the state and at the district level after the meeting, it was decided that we would arrange a special three-day trip in the Narayanpur block, where vaccination coverage was almost 5% and therefore the total coverage of the district had dropped .
We spent to reach at least 50% coverage through special drives on January 26.
“He added,” Narayanpur’s restriction, three other blocks in this district, namely Nala, Kunditta and Jamtara, have a level of coverage ranging from 20% to 25%.
In addition, some data related to vaccines have not been fully updated, which can be the reason why Jamtara is left behind.
“A health department official said that Narayanpur was mostly a block dominated by Muslims where vaccines were hesitantly higher than other parts.
