Jan CFR is more than six times less than the last

Ludhiana: The case fatality rate (CFR) from the district in January is more than six times lower than possible, when the second wave is at its peak.
As per data of the Ministry of Health, CFR Regency this month (until January 23 night) is 0.36%.
That means in the ongoing third wave, which began in January, for 1,000 Ludhiana cases, there were 3.6 deaths.
The second wave data, which was witnessed in April and May last year, showed that the CFR for two months was 1.2% and 2.17%, respectively.
Therefore, CFR this January three times less than April last year and 6.03 times less than May last year.
The previous year, CFR was 3.27% in June; 1.6% in July; 6.85% in September; 5.79% in October; 7.14% in November; and 4.86% in December.
In the past four months, the tariff more than some deaths were reported in the middle of the number of cases.
Meanwhile, the weekly CFR between January 17 and 23 was 0.52%; 1.3% between April 24 and the last 30; and 3.4% from 19 to 25 last.
CFR on Sunday (0.84%) put Ludhiana in fourth place in the state.
Barnala has the highest level at 1.82%, followed by Pathankot (1.72%).
There are seven districts that record 0% CFR.
The CFR Punjab on that day was 0.53%.
The Department of Health’s authority said even when the case would come, fewer death during the ongoing waves.
The civil surgeon Dr.
S P Singh said, “CFR in Ludhiana remains around 0.5%.
It is far less than the second wave.” He indicated that most patients who had died had many health problems.

Bimal Kanish, “to examine the spread of the disease, people need to follow the rules of Covid-19 wearing masks, maintaining social distance and hygiene hands.”
