Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday praised Japan to “Being one of the most trusted friends in India today in the strategic and economic fields”.
He added that Indian friendship with Japan is considered as one of the most natural partnerships throughout the region.
Speaking at the intellectual meeting after inaugurating Rudraksh, a very modern international cooperation and convention center built with Japanese assistance, Modi said: “Rudraksh is the result of creativity and dynamism.
This center shows a strong connected between India and Japan.” Furthermore, it further commends Japan’s efforts in helping Building the Convention Center, Modi said, “India and Japan have the view that our development must be associated with our happiness.
This development must be all-round, must be for all, and must cover all.” PM also mentions the former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is closely related to Rudraksh.
Modi remembered the moment when he discussed with Abe on the idea of Rudraksh when the last one came to Kashi.
PM also remembers that Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga is now the cabinet secretary at that time.
“Since then until he became the Prime Minister of Japan, he has been involved personally in this project,” said PM added that every Indian thanks him for his closeness to India.
PM said this building has a glimpse of modernity and cultural light.
“It has an Indian-Japanese relations relationship and the scope of cooperation in the future too.” Modi said that from her visit to Japan such a relationship of people-to-people considered and projects such as Rudraksh and Zen Garden in Ahmedabad symbolized this relationship.
