Japan CO can bring to Indian Bio-Diesel Run Machines

Nagpur: Japanese mining and construction equipment maker, Komatsu is considering the introduction of a bio-diesel engine in India.
Komatsu operates here through his Arm Komatsu India Private Limited with L & T as a dealer for its products.
On Wednesday, oil checking laboratories were inaugurated at the company’s facilities in the city.
Located more than 20 km from the city of Nagpur-Amravati Road, the lab will test the oil used in the equipment as an indicator of its condition.
Arvind Garg, Construction Executive Vice President of L & T and the Mining Machinery Division, said that they could try to market Komatsu small and medium-sized machines that ran in bio-diesel on the Indian market too.
The coal further said that Komatsu had run a bio-diesel engine in Indonesia.
“A combination of 20% of bio-diesel has been successful in Indonesia, and there have been beneficial results to try a 30% mix too.
The model can be adopted in India also depends on the availability of fuel stations for bio-diesel in this country , “Garg said.
Companies are interested in carrying machines that work on alternative fuels.
Recently, a meeting was held with the Transport Minister Union Nitin Gadkari which emphasized the use of alternative fuels such as ethanol, LNG and CNG.
“Ethanol combines well with gasoline, for diesel vehicles, bio-diesel must be used.
CNG can be tried for the construction and vehicle mining sector.
The company has supplied electrically managed mining vehicles to Limited South East Bandal (secl).
It’s in the segment Large engine.
The presence of electrically managed vehicles can increase depending on the appearance of the filling station throughout the country, “Garg said.
Yasunori Fuji, Commissioner Director of Komatsu India Private Limited, said that requests had taken a big hit after the second wave of Covid.
However, it is expected that demand will grow in the coming financial year.
The company also saw the main request because of the ongoing road construction work taken by the Ministry of Transportation.
“Apart from the PSU mining company which includes Indian Coal Subsidiaries Limited, opening commercial mining through coal block auctions is also expected to spur equipment requests such as Earthmover and Dumpers,” Garg said.
