Tokyo: Japan will send a military aircraft on Monday to Afghanistan to restore its citizens, the top government spokesman said.
More military transport aircraft are expected to be sent to Afghanistan to repatriate not only citizens themselves but also Afghans work at the Japanese Embassy or with a Japanese mission, Katsunobu Kato, Secretary of the Japanese Cabinet, told a press conference on Monday.
