Tokyo: Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida expressed victory on Monday after leading the powerful coalition for the majority in national elections.
The old Liberal Democrat Party (LDP) and its junior coalition partner, Komeito won 293 out of 465 seats at home under parliament, local media reported that the official results were completed.
“It is a very difficult selection, but the wishes – that they want us to create the future of this country under the stable LDP-Komeito government and the Kishida government – shown,” he said.
“We received 261 valuable seats for LDP.
