Agra: In an effort to reach Daliters, especially the Jatav Community – Vote Core Bank of BSP Mayawati-BJP has deployed four candidates “Jatav”, including the former Governor of Uttrakhand and the prominent Jatav leader, in Rani Maurya’s baby, in five reserve seats in Agra , Mathura and Aligarh.
Parties released the first list of 107 candidates, including 20 of the three districts, for the upcoming assembly poll on Saturday.
BJP has dropped seven MLA sitting from the parliamentary constituency of Agra, Mathura and Aligarh, triggering several rebellions.
Baby Rani Maurya is the first Dalit Woman to become Mayor of Agra in 1995 and did not succeed in playing assemblies in 2007 from the ETMADPUR AGRA seat on BJP tickets.
He is currently the party’s national vice president.
Three other Jatav candidates also sat MLAS – Dr.
GS Dharmesh from Agra (Cantt), Moran Prakash Jatav from Mathura’s Baldeo and Raj Kumar Sahyogi from Iggarh Iggla and a non-Jatav candidate from Khair, Anoop Kumar Balmiki.
Dalit at Uttar Pradesh is an influential voice.
Their population was around 21.6 percent, which included 66 Casta Dalit.
In Agra, Jatav with a population of around 3.95 lakh was the second high (13.4%), followed by Thakurs at 12.57% (3.70 lakh) and Muslims at 10% (2.97 lakh).
In addition, Maurya, two cabinet ministers from Mathura-Chaudhary Laxmi Naray (Development, Livestock, Fisheries) and Srikant Sharma (Power) each will contest from the constituency of Chhata and Mathura and Sandeep Singh, Minister of State Education and grandson of former Minister of Minister of Kalyan Singh will contest from the Atruli constituency in Aligarh.
Talking to Toi, Maurya said, “I thank my party leaders because they have entrusted me with various roles and will do our best.
I never thought of this level in politics and it was all due to support from my side.” He claimed that BJP would win the election of “hands down” and formed a government in the state.

I started my career from this city and would do the best for the community and the city”, he said, adding that people from the SC community get a maximum respect at BJP.

Besides Maurya from Agra (Rustic SC), BJP has lowered the former Chaudhary Party Parliament from Fatehpur Sikri, two Turncoats, who have just joined BJP – Dr.
Dharampal Singh from SP and Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha from BSP has been given tickets from the ETMADPUR and Kheragarh constituency and Chotte Lal Verma from FateHabad.
The party has lowered the chairman of Zila Sahkari Bank Thakur Meghshyam Singh from Govardhan and Jaiver Singh from Baraluli.
Talking T O Toi, BJP MLA from Fatehpur Sikri, Chaudhary Udaybhan Singh, said that he felt bad but hoped that the party would make a decision for everyone.

The President of the Braj Party, Rajnikant Maheshwari, said that people felt bad after refusing tickets but the party had chosen the candidate after conducting a survey.
“The party denied the ticket to Mla, whose report was not good,” he said.
