Jaipur: Breaking his own world record of 63.97 meters, the Javelin Devendra Jhjharia thrower booked a ticket for Tokyo Paralympics 2020 with a throw of 65.71 meters during the trial at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The first India to win two gold in Paralympics, Jhjhariah said that even at the age of 40 his ladies to win the medal was the same as when he competed for the first time.
“I feel it’s all about your desires, mental well-being and a good training plan that can make you in good condition and then age become only numbers,” Jhajharia Toi said.
This is an emotionally stirring moment for Rajasthan athletes.
During the past year in October, while he had not fulfilled his father’s requirements for cancer, the Jhjhariah received a violent telephone to leave his house in the Churu district within 12 days.
He returned to Gandhinagar to continue training at the Indian Authority Authority Center (SAI).
“I haven’t met my family since then.
My mother wants me to focus on training and her encouragement makes everything easier for me.
I have decided to meet my family this month before I left for Tokyo,” added the award winner Shri Padma.
