Chennai: The State Government extends the term of office of Justice a Transportation of Arumughaswamy, investigating the deaths of the former Main Minister of Jayalalithaa, with five more months.
Government notification, which was issued on Monday, said the extension will be valid on January 25 and will be valid until June 24, 2022.
The one-person commission was formed in September 2017 for a period of six months.
On January 19, he was looking for a five-month extension to obey the direction of the Supreme Court such as forming a medical council consisting of a doctor from AIIM.
