Patna: JD (U) Media cell president Dr.
Amardeep, who is considered close to the former party president and the Minister of Steel Union RCP Singh, on Wednesday quit the party post.
In his resignation letter aimed at CM Nitish Kumar, Amardep said now he has found himself unable to give up his responsibilities with self-esteem.
This is the first resignation of a RCP Singh loyalist after the recent guard change in JD (U), the source in JD (U) said.
The former MPhepura MP Prof.
Ramendra Kumar Yadav ‘Ravi’, Amardeep has led media cells JD (U) since it was founded in 2017.
The source in JD (U) said Amardep had found difficulties in destroying his responsibilities in the party since Rajiv Ranjan Singh aka Lalan Singh took over as President JD (U) replacing RCP.
Amardeep faces the pressure from supporters of rival camps in JD (U) to include their names as a different party whatsapp group admin.
Amardeup refused to do it.
Recently, Amardeop was accused of adopting a partisan attitude in uploading videos relating to the speech of the senior party leaders in the official Twitter handle and Facebook page from JD (U).
He was accused of uploading more RCP videos than other senior leaders.
Contacted, Amardeop told the Toi that he had sent his resignation letter to the party’s top leadership.
“I have left the party post, not a membership of JD (U).
I’m still on JD (U),” he said.
