JD-U Banks in Kumar Nithish net images for the benefits of polls in the Northeast

Guwahati: What makes Bihar regional parties like the JD (U) contest in the election of assembly in the northeast far and win a seat too? Northeast countries have seen hordes of regional parties from Hindi belts taking part in the selection of assemblies, including JD (s), LJP, RJD, SP and Samata Party.
But no one has reaped as much as JD (U).
After several successful and unsuccessful efforts in three northeastern countries Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur since 2003, the party has deployed its biggest contingent – a total of 35 candidates – for the election of the Manipur Assembly scheduled to be held in two phases in February.

JD (U) The National Secretary General responsible for the Northeast, Ahamque Ahmed Khan, said the image of Bihar Minister Nith Nithy Kumar has attracted mass and intelligence in the region.
“The masses and intelligence in the Northeast looked at the net image of our leader Nith Kumar and his good governance in Bihar.
This is caused by party images, especially nitish nitish images, that people are interested in JD (U),” explained Khan.
JD (U) made his debut in the Manipur election in 2000 with 18 candidates and won a single seat.
In the election two years later, the party lowered seven candidates but failed to win any seats.
It attracted a Blanko in 2007, 2012 and conducted a contest in 2017.
The biggest haul JD (U) had been in Arunachal Pradesh where he had won seven seats in 2019 after fighting in 15 seats.
However, in a few months, six of the moins turned to BJP in power in the state.
In neighboring Nagaland, the first election of JD (U) in 2003 and the party won three seats from the 13 contested.
With no existing in 2008, the party won one seat in 2013 and 2018 in the state.
The party has been able to draw even defectors from BJP, his brother in NDA, and Congress for his folds in Manipur and with all of these candidates, the Bihar-Centric Party has emerged as a major player.
“This time, we are ready mentally for the contest and our units have worked hard.
The people who come from other parties are the benefits for us,” Khan added.
The party has also deployed several major names of countries, including former former Secretary Secretary OINAM Nabakishore Singh and former DGP Lallian Mang Khaut.
Also among the candidates were SuperCop Thouunoujam Brinda, a former police supervisor assistant who returned the Minister of Police’s medal to Galantry in 2018 after the release of seven people, including a BJP Top leader, was arrested in the case of drug transportation.
