Patna: JD who came to power in Bihar on Tuesday maintained the Tarapur and Kusheshwar Astan seat, where the Bypolls were held on October 30.
At the Tarapur candidate, JD (U) Rajiv Kumar Singh defeated his closest rival RJD, Arun Kumar was valid.
, with a slim margin of less than 4,000 votes, according to the Election Commission.
Singh surveyed 78,966 votes against 75,145 was valid.
Tarapur fell emptiness after the death of JD (U) MLA Mewa Lal Chaudhary.
The ruling party, at the beginning of the day, pocketed Astan Kusheshwar’s chair with more than 12,000 convenient margins.
JD (U) Aman Bhushan Hazari, death whose father needs a by-election selection, polling 58,882 votes.
RJD candidate Ganesh Bharti secured 47,184 votes.
