Jaipur: Residents can immediately visit the Kishan Bagh Ecotourism Project, which is spread in 64 hectares in the outskirts of the city.
After selecting the company for garden maintenance and management, the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) plans to provide work orders at the end of this month.
Mahesh Tiwari, senior Horticulturist at JDA said, “Final negotiations are being carried out with the company chosen.
The process will be completed by the end of this month.” The desert park is a total spread in 320 hectares.
In Phase-1, JDA has developed around 64 hectares.
Besides Jaisalmer, a tree from Barmer, Sirohi, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Banswara is being planted in the park.
For maintenance of genuine plants in the biodiversity park, JDA plans to spend RS 2.65 Crore.
This place will serve exclusivity to tourists because it has natural features preserved by the department.
A forest official said, “This park has Habitat Dhok, granite habitat, nurseries, rock, and fossil exhibitions for some people.” The park falls under the Vidhyadhar Nagar area, which is almost 15 km from the main city.
This area is ready to get a new landmark because this will be an additional feature for city tourism.
Regional development has been done without disturbing topography.
The park will represent a unique desert ecosystem on the outskirts of the state capital.
“We have developed natural vegetation in the park such as the Desert Thar.
Seeds and sand have been brought from Jaisalmer to develop flora in the park.
A total of 18 native species of trees have been planted,” officially added.
After being discarded, residents can enjoy the tranquility of the desert in the suburbs of the pink city without traveling traveling.
Kishanbagh, the first Desert Park project in the city began in August 2016.
