NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur on Wednesday declared the JEE (Advanced) 2021 that was scheduled to be held July 3 in light of the existing outbreak circumstance. But a new date will be announced afterwards.
“Considering the present pandemic scenario because of COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 that had been scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) stands . The revised date of evaluation will be announced at an suitable time,” IIT Kharagpur explained in a statement issued by its official site.
On April 27, 2021, a three-member committee for JEE (Advanced) had held an assembly at IIT Kharagpur to critique the Covid-19 scenario for running the examination. The committee found in the assembly a change of date has been required, in the aftermath of the doubt that looms within the holding of JEE Mains, the outcomes of which might be required to begin the JEE Advanced procedure.
