Jaipur: Anshul Verma, a resident of Raipur, who lives in the city for the past two years has proven that success does not have a shortcut.
After scoring 99.95 and 99.93 the percentile in his first effort and the two jee-mains were held in February and March, Verma did not show a sign to back down until he scored a Centum.
He is among 17 students throughout the country to get 100 percent of the percentile.

“Every time I check as a fresh candidate, I consider every opportunity as the last,” said Verma who was happy by telephone from the city, who was the son of a veterinarian, Dr.
Krishna Kumar Verma, who was a primary school principal.
He was preparing from Allen Career Institute in the city.
Sharing his success mantra, Verma said that the whole focus was on the NCERT syllabus and a special topic of Jee suggested by his teacher.
“I’ve learned only for 10 hours a day and with a few hours of cricket and chess before I can sleep.
The game helps in the right destression and sleep has helped keep my focus,” Verma said.
His sister Roopal Verma chased B.Tech from Nit Raipur.
“He has also prepared for a competitive exam from the city, which inspired me to come to town to prepare my dream,” Verma said.
He secured 98.4% in grade 10 and obtained 26th in all India in Kvpy SX.
He scored 99% in class 12.
At present, he focuses on Jee Advanced and wants to pursue B.Tech in the CS branch of IIT Mumbai.
