New Delhi: Joint Entrance Door Check (JEE) – The exam will be conducted from 20-25 July and 27 July to 2 August this year and the number of inspection centers in each shift will increase from 660 to 828.
Providing this information, education minister Union Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the National Test Agency (NTA) will hold the third and fourth session of the All-India Engineering Jee-Main entrance examination 2021 from July 20.
April and May sessions were postponed because of Covid-19.
According to the NTA document distributed by the Minister, Submission of the Online Application Form for “Session 3 (April 2021) (Postponed) into / Paper BTECH I” will start July 6 to July 8 and the exam date is from July 20 to 25.

Submission of an online application form for “Session 4 (May 2021) (Postponed) BE / BTECH PAPER 1 AND B Arch (Paper 2A) B PLANNING (Paper 2B)” will start from 9 to 12 July and the exam date comes from July 27 to 2 August.
The first two sessions of Jee-Main 2021 were completed in February and March.
The minister said the bright safety, security, and future of students was the government’s priority.
“There are some concerns among students about the examination of #jee (main) -2021 during Covid.
PM Narendra Modiji always said that the safety, security, and a bright future of our students must be the highest priority of the Ministry of Education,” he said in Tweet.
“The number of inspection centers in each shift will increase from 660 to 828,” said NTA.
All related Covid-19 guidelines and protocols will be followed in all inspection centers.
According to NTA, the total number of candidates who have registered earlier for April sessions is 6.80 lakh and for the May session is 6.09 lakh.
It is said that after receiving many representations of candidates to reopen the online application window for JEE (Main) – 2021 April session, it was decided to provide another opportunity to submit / withdraw from the remaining jee (main) – 2021 sessions (April and May).
