The main highway to Jerusalem and the main arteries were closed, and the school and the business closed for that day when the city snow worked to clear the streets.
Israeli police also closed the main highway on the west bank of the mountains due to dangerous road conditions.
Snow snow in the hills around Jerusalem is rare, it happens maybe once the season.
