Jewelry raises 3 robbers, gets 13 stitches

Panchkula: A jewelry took armed robbers to save gold and silver items in sector 8 on Saturday, forcing them to run out of his shopmark but ended with 13 stitches on his head and knife wounds on his right shoulder.
Sandeep Verma runs “Maa Luxmi Jewellers” from a booth.
Three masked men came to the market in the Honda Activa scooter around 12 noon, according to CCTV camera footage.
“I sat inside when they entered.
One of them pointed at my gun.
The others held a knife.
They told me not to move.
But I immediately rushed to the door and began to shout,” Verma said.
One of them attacked him with a knife.
“I keep shouting and wrestling with them even when they hit me.
Realizing people can record the commotion, they run out,” Verma said, who called the police to inform the robbery efforts.
A police team rushed to place.
“The victim was received at a public hospital, sector 6.
No one was robbed from his shop.
I have appointed four teams to arrest the defendant,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mohit Handa.
The four teams consist of branch members of the crime, sector 19; Branch of crime, sector 26; Detective staff and sector police station 7.
The doctor said Verma received 13 stitches on his head and injured on his face, back and chest apart from the wound from the knife.
The police registered a case below Section 394 (voluntarily caused injured in carrying out robbery) and 398 (efforts to carry out robbery or dacoity when armed with deadly weapons) from IPC and under ARMS ACT.
Then on that day, the speakers of the Assembly Haryana Gian Chand Gupta and DCP met with victims and their families in the hospital.
“This is a very unfortunate incident.
I have asked DCP to catch the perpetrators as soon as possible.”
