Jhajjar-Hisisar Pipeline Gas: Protest Farmers Outside Dy Speaker’s House

Hisar: Farmers from the villages in the HANSAN region protested outside the residence of Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa on Wednesday, giving him seven days ultimatum to resolve their complaints about Jhajjar-Hissar gas pipelines.
They said the gas pipeline between the village and Hisar Puthi Mangalkhan, worked where it took place for the past few days, passing through the village of Umra, Sultanpur and Dhanderi, which included high-mound land.
Umra farmers have enrolled to the company on March 17, 2021, to explore 12 feet pipes in the fields, said former representatives of the Manoj Rathi District Council and District President Sabher Nutdar, who lead protests.
“Here the field is 6-7 feet higher, so that canal water cannot be used for irrigation …
it is a sandy soil and is cut very quickly when heavy rains or cloudburst.
In such situations, there is a possibility of a pipe that loses its cover.
Inside Whatever leakage things, because the surface of the pipe is open, there may be a big loss of life and property, “they said.
Farmers demand that instead of collectors, they must be compensated at 24.5 lakh Rs.
They also demand compensation for the entire Acre of Land that says that the pipe passes through it, the plant all acres will be destroyed or the next plant cannot be sprinkled.
The farmers who protested claimed that they had come to Hisar many times over the past two-three months to ask project managers regarding excavation work.
They said that instead of listening to their complaints, company officials had repeatedly called the police, intimidated and harassed them.
The farmers said they had complained about this to DC and HANSAN SP, but there was no movement of their complaints.
