Jhansi: Jhansi District stands second in the highest percentage of vaccination against the Covid vaccine target given during the mega single vaccination campaign throughout the state on Monday.
Chief Medical Officer, Jhansi, Dr.
Anil Kumar, said 44,368 vaccine shots were given until 9:30 a.m.
to the target given 37,800.
Thus, the district reached 117.38% of its target, so it became the second district in the state after Lucknow (which reached 120.43% of the target) according to the compiled data uploaded in the Cowin portal by the State Health Department by the Ministry of Health.
Chitrakoot Regency, meanwhile, recorded the lowest number of vaccination in the target given for the Bundelkhand region with 42.82% of the dosage given.
In Chitrakoot, only 8,093 targeted at 18,900 people who were vaccinated on Monday.
CMO said 226 sessions were held in rural and urban areas in the district for vaccination.
Now, eight lakh people from the Jhansi district have taken at least the first dose of vaccines so far.
