Finished / Alvi Jhansi: Student Score, Socialite, Residents and BJP leaders issued a big rally on Sunday on the opportunity to born birthday Hockey Dhyanchand Wizard with plaques written with ‘Thank you Modijee’.
The rally taken from the Dhyanchand Stadium was marked by Jhansi MP Anurag Sharma in front of Aconscious MLA, Ravi Sharma, DM Jhansi, Andra Vamsi, Mayor, Ram Tirath Singhal and a number of BJP leaders.
Hundreds of school children lined up and marched through the city’s main intersection along with the school band.
They are led by a number of leading city people.
Many social clubs and sports also participate in rallies.
They shouted the slogan, thank you Narendra Modi to rename the ‘Khel Ratan’ award after Major Dhyanchand.
Rally received a new welcome at various points with people seen bathing flower petals in children.
Jhansi MP Anurag Sharma was seen distributing bottles of water and food eaten when the rally reached his residence.
Rally concluded at the Dhyanchand Stadium where students showed off a number of sports activities.
The organizer of the rally, Pradeep Sarawgi who is also a member of the BJP State Work Committee said, “Modiji has given a great prize to Jhans by renouncing the prestigious ‘Khel Ratan’ award after the prestigious Maj Dhyanchand name.
