Jhansi will be made free city from open channels

Jhansi: The district government has decided to make Jhansi a free city from open channels by covering all major and small waterways.
This was announced by the Commissioner of the Division of Ajay Shankar Pandey.
Speaking with Toi, Commissioner said the decision would help in ward off dirt and dirt seen throughout the city because the drainage network was open which was also a source of many diseases.
Closed large channels will be converted as a green belt or used as a parking slot, he said.
He asked officials to carry out all works scheduled under the City City project in the specified time and budget.
“When Jhana is being used as a small city project, the officials concerned must start the project for e-profiles of all patients who come to the district hospital that will help maintain patient records and also help in tracking it”, he said.
Other problems discussed in meetings include building a high corridor in Gwalior Road Railway Crossing, the latest processing factory for garbage disposal, a hockey museum in the main memory of the main Dhyanchand, multi-level parking, cancer hospitals, and blind schools.
The Commissioner asked the official to appoint Nodal officers for each project, which would review the progress of the work regularly.
