Jhansi’s administration sounded vigilance for fear of rising among the water level

Jhansi: In the midst of fear of increasing water levels on the Betta River because of the release of water from Raj Ghat and Matatila Dam on Saturday, the district government has sounded a warning for all villages that fall on both sides of the river that is afraid of the situation.
Jhansi District Judge Andra Vamsi has requested the Village Head Monitoring Committee, Lekhpals and Village to become alert and warn the district headquarters if they find a situation like a flood.
He has directed the officer concerned to make steamer and diver settings to save people if needed.
Meanwhile, 3.50 lakh cusec water was released from Rajghat and Matatila Dam while 2.40 lakh cusec from Dam Dam and 2.70 lakh Cusec from Parichha Dam on Saturday due to rising water surface continuously.
On the other hand, the surface of the water in Pahaster and Dam Lehchura has receded.
