RANCHI: Assuming that the arrival of a potential third wave of coronavirus from the forthcoming months, and this, based on healthcare specialists, will impact the kids mainly, the state health department has chosen to install paediatrics wards and also make other necessary structures throughout all district hospitals on a priority basis. An arrangement in this respect was issued with other chief secretary (wellness ) Arun Kumar Singh, guiding all of the 24 DCs and civic leaders to begin making arrangements and set up the essential equipment to be able to take care of children in the district and block levels. According to the arrangement, the districts will need to ensure the paediatric wards are situated at a secure distance in the Covid ward at the hospital. The wards must be equipped with all of the amenities which are needed in healthcare. So as to keep hygiene one of the patients constantly, the wards will need to have washrooms at the 5:1 ratio along with the government involved have been requested to make sure they are clean 24/7. Since Jharkhand has a serious lack of healthcare employees, Singh has led the DCs to begin identifying paediatric physicians and many others, for example para-medical employees, that are well-versed in child maintenance. The DCs also have led to arrange training sessions for these healthcare employees. Besides infrastructural growth, the letter also put stress on construction play areas from the hospitals that will assist the impatient children stay calm and allow them to feel at home. The authorities concerned are requested to use different colors for painting inspirational themes across the lines of slogans and cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Tom and Jerry, Motu Patlu, Chhota Bheem, Doremon along with Little Singham, amongst others. The play area will also have a TV set, soft toys, comic books and story books. Additionally, vibrant bedsheets, utensils, cups, cups and plates would be utilized for the youngsters throughout the whole course of the treatment.
