Ranchi: Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren on Tuesday traveled to New Delhi to reveal the promotion policy of the new Jharkhand and investment industry (Jipp) -2021 and attract investment in various sectors in the state.
The Soren office announced that he would camp in the national capital for three days and will accommodate one at a meeting with stakeholders, industry representatives and listen to investor proposals and needs.
Representatives from the leading industrial house in the country are expected to be able to attend meetings on August 26 and 27, the office said.
Earlier this year, Soren conducted consultations with industrial representatives and sought their advice to develop new policies.
JIPP-2021, which was approved by the State Cabinet on July 6 this year, will replace the 2016 state industry policy compiled by the Government of Raghubar Das Myst.
Armed with new policies, the state government aims to take an investment worth Rs 1 lakh crore with a focus on textiles and clothing, car components and electric vehicles, food and meat processing, pharmaceuticals, tourism, health, it, renewable energy, beer and refineries , Education and Technical Institutions and MSMEs.
“Jharkhand is an unlimited land opportunity.
We will welcome all investors with open arms and give them facilities that may be directly from the beginning to production,” said Soren.
Push Soren to take new incentives coming at a time of nearly 3,000 industrial units throughout the country’s industrial area has stopped production or permanently closed.
The Soren Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), has in the 2019 General Election Manifesto promising 5 lakh jobs to the state youth within one year with an office assumption.
JMM has criticized the peak of the 2017 Momentum of Global Global Das Momentum held in Ranchi.
“Through new policies, we aim to maximize incentives for investors and ensure that they enjoy business-friendly ecosystems in Jharkhand,” said the Industrial Secretary of the Puja Singhal.
Jipp-2021 promises capital investment subsidies to RS 25 Crore and 100% SGST assistance for nine years to new companies if they set up units at Jharkhand.
At the meeting, the Industrial Department will try to seduce investors from the manufacturing and electronic design sectors by displaying newly built electronic manufacturing clusters in Adityapur.
82-acre facilities can accommodate 92 factory units and 51 electronic manufacturing units, government said.
